Eggs from free range hens


All eggs consumed by REINA GROUP will be from free-range hens by 2025.
This process was initiated in 2019 with the launch of Egg Custard from free-range hens , and since then we have introduced the change in other newly developed products.
Knowing that our suppliers are evolving in their breeding models, our objective and commitment is to reach 100% consumption by 2025. We are also committed to monitoring the non-use of combined aviary systems.
This objective is the result of our concern for sustainable production and, in particular, for animal welfare.
An annual sustainability report on the progress of our cage-free egg policy will be reflected in our annual report.

Our secret lies in the exhaustive control measures involved in the elaboration process of our desserts, applying in each and every one of them the traditional techniques used since our beginnings. All the people involved in the process contribute to this endeavor, from the choice of raw materials to the final presentation, all with a main goal; that our consumers are safe and satisfied. All production and distribution processes are subject to strict and rigorous national and international regulations. From the R&D department we use our knowledge and experience to develop new products that can satisfy the needs of consumers, offering them innovative and highly flavoured foods in order to continue to make a place for ourselves in the homes where our products reach.


Respect for the environment


The commitment to the environment is fundamental for the Reina Group, which is why all its companies have an ISO 14001 certified management system. The most significant environmental aspects for Postres Reina are: Consumption of natural gas, consumption of chemicals, cleaning products and additives for towers, boilers and purifiers, consumption of recycled material in raw and auxiliary materials and use of recycled material in packaging of raw and auxiliary materials. Care for the environment is one of our priorities, dedicating great efforts to carry out our activity following the guidelines of sustainable development. Our responsibility for the environment is intended to go beyond compliance with laws and regulations, taking strict compliance with them as a matter of course. In this sense, our work is carried out by acting from our suppliers to our corporate team through training, sensitization and awareness among other measures. Our management is focused on continuous improvement, achieving every year with the objectives set.
