Today, March 26, 2021, the president of Reina Group D. Alfonso López Rueda, the Management Committee of Reina Group, the mayor of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, D. Jose Francisco García and the councilors D. José Santiago Villa and D. Jose Carlos Gómez have laid the first stone to inaugurate the beginning of the works of the new Logistics-Refrigeration Center of Reina Group located in Pol. Ind. of Cávila de Caravaca de la Cruz, where all the logistics activities of the group will be centralized and coordinated.
The facilities will have a constructed area of 7,200m² and with a height at its highest point of 22 meters, this infrastructure will be equipped with a comprehensive automation system that will optimize improvements in personnel.
This center will have the latest advances in renewable energies, being 40% of the total consumption of the plant clean energy, produced through a photovoltaic plant that generates about 680kWp.
Mr. Alfonso López Rueda has conveyed that this project incorporates innovation and technology, thus strengthening the position of the group in Spain and Portugal.
For his part, Jose Francisco García appreciates the commitment of Postres Reina choosing Caravaca for his projects, generating an important socioeconomic activity in the northwest region of Murcia. It is expected that the works will be completed during the first quarter of 2022, at which time we will be able to enjoy greater ergonomics in the facilities and the environmental benefits that this new warehouse will entail.
